After a decade of both field and corporate experience in the hospitality industry,
, Creator/CEO,
decided to pursue marketing and business development as her true passion. In 2006, she combined her education
in videography with her marketing acumen to start her own company producing multi-media tools for small businesses
and non-profit organizations throughout Orange County. The business model for Be There Bedtime Stories was inspired
by her own frustration of living 1500 miles away from her only two nieces.
Since the company’s launch, Sansone has spearheaded the company’s growth and strategic vision:
- Over 250 titles have been licensed for her bookstore by ten publishers, featuring a variety of genres from educational to character building and from holiday to Spanish language titles.
- BTBS is a strategic partner of Blue Star Families, offering free Webtime Stories and webcams to this nationally leading military family support organization.
- BTBS has been endorsed by Reach Out and Read, a national leading, research-based organization raising awareness on early childhood literacy.
- Alison serves on the steering committee for the Los Angeles Literacy Roundtable, a distinguished co-op of nationally recognized literacy organizations.
- Alison serves on the marketing and design team for the ‘Read Across CA’ campaign launching in March 2012, following the recently passed legislation, ARC 62.
- BTBS has been awarded the Mom’s Choice Award for ‘best of the best’ in Family Friendly Media and Services.
She is joined by Jesse Pierpoint, principal of

10 years of experience in developing branding campaigns and digital strategies in the entertainment and telecom industries.

We have a strategic partnership with
Blue Star Families - a military family support
organization, serving as a bridge between military families, the shapers of policy affecting military life, and
the nation. Since it's inception in 2008, BSF has raised awareness on the ongoing needs of MilFams by:
- starting 70 chapters on military bases and National Guard sites around the country
- designed and executed a comprehensive "Military Families Top Issues Survey", studied and referenced by major government leaders in Congress
- voicing it's mission in a regular column in Military Spouse Magazine
- launching the “Books on Bases Smiles on Faces” program to bring 100,000 children’s books to military children
- shining a spotlight on BSF programs with the help of many high-profile leaders and celebrities, including Dr. Jill Biden and First Lady Michelle Obama; Cher, Jack Black, and the Ellen Show
